Early Season End Announcement

We feel your heartbreak and share in the disappointment of the premature end to what was shaping up to be a truly amazing season. As most of you know. Gov. Northam announced today that all schools will remain closed for the rest of the school year.  This statement, reiterated in the VASRA announcement that shortly followed, effectively ended our spring season. Thanks for keeping the faith as we waited out these decisions with you. In an effort to stay as far ahead of the curve as we can, the executive board began discussions about potential impacts this pandemic may have to our season as soon as the news broke and hosted two virtual emergency meetings since then.  We remain committed to providing as much information to you as we can in an efficient but responsible manner.

Thanks for your continued patience. Like each of you, we are also parents of devastated kids and searching for a path that keeps the momentum our athletes and coaches started earlier this year moving forward so we are unstoppable in the future.

For additional information, all registered spring rower families have been notified via email.

Camp Claytor Spring Break - CANCELLED

Last Practice Friday, 13 March, until at least 12 April.

Rowers  stay connected on Crew Slack and text you can use to push yourself to be the best version of yourself along with your teammates.  Between workouts, video review, and personal goals that will be shared, rowers will have all the resources they need to advance their training until we reconvene  as a group.

Stay motivated and when the time comes, we will be ready to answer the call.
