This year's letter-writing fundraising campaign will be done online, and is now called the Email Donation Campaign. We hope that this new online format will make the process easier for the rowers, crew volunteers, and the many generous people who make donations to the crew team.

Rowers have until Monday, December 19 to go online and submit the email addresses of family, friends, and businesses that will receive an email asking for a tax-deductible donation to the crew team. Email recipients will have the option of making a donation online or mailing a check to the crew team.

• Every rower must submit 12 contacts. There is a space available on the online form for 12 email addresses 2 regular mail addresses.
• Each rower may submit up to 2 regular mail addresses in the place of up to 2 email addresses.
• A total of 12 contacts are required
• If you choose not to participate in this activity, there is a $300 buyout option. See below for details.

Simply follow the steps below to get started!

• Click here to access the Ronin website
• Once on the Ronin webpage, follow the instructions to sign in. NOTE: this is for rowers to complete with their own contact information, NOT parents!
• Enter the contact information for 12 family members, friends, or businesses to whom you would like the crew team to send an email donation request.
• Click the “continue” box.
• You’re done!! Emails / letters will be sent to the contacts you provided in the 2 weeks.

TIPS:

• Double check all emails addresses. If the emails / letters are returned as undeliverable, we will contact you for the correct address.
• Let people who you select to receive an email or letter know that it is from you. The email they received will show that it's from Lake Braddock Crew, not your name. The rower’s name will appear in the text of the email.

Buyout Option:
If you choose not to participate in this activity, please follow the steps below:

• Click here to access the Ronin website
• On the online form, enter the word “Buyout” in the first box labeled “first name”.
• Mail a check for $300 made payable to “Lake Braddock Crew” to RONIN Registration, 2500 Treehouse Drive, Woodbridge, VA 22192. Please write the word “Buyout” and your rower’s name in the memo section of the check to ensure that your rower is given credit for the buyout.
