Uniforms and Practice Apparel Welcome to the 2011-2012 crew season! We are very excited to be able to offer two on-line Team stores. These stores will carry both the required uniform items and additional apparel to help keep our rowers rowing, even in foul weather! On Nov. 9th at the registration meeting, the novice rowers will be sized for a Uni and Tech shirt. This one piece rowing suit is custom made by sewing a unique top and bottom together for comfort and fit. The long sleeve shirt is worn under the Uni for warmth. These are the only two required pieces for the official uniform. These are available on the JL Rowing site. Click here to visit the online store that has been set up by JL Rowing Apparel especially for Lake Braddock Crew. Rowers will also have an opportunity to try on foul weather wear made by Sew Sporty. This is the classic rowing jacket that can be monogrammed with the rowers name, year of graduation or both. The pants are matching and can be altered to a particular inseam. These items are not part of the official uniform and are not required. However, rowers will need some means to stay warm and dry when they row in the rain or cold. Please see the Handbook for suggestions. After sizing the rowers will bring a form home with their suggested sizes. Parents are asked to visit the team stores below to place and pay for their individual orders. The apparel will be delivered to practice as soon as it arrives! There are some varsity rowers that misplace or perhaps outgrow their uniforms. Returning rowers please find your uniform and try it on prior to Nov.9th to make sure you don’t need replacements.
